South Wind is a CD of traditional music from a Boston ceilidh featuring many performers. A ceilidh (pronounced "KAY-lee") means a "visit," a neighborhood gathering where singing, dancing, storytelling, and music take place. Our ceilidh at the First Parish Church of Watertown captured the flavor and spirit of what traditional communities have been doing for generations: expressing themselves in story and song.

Of the eighteen songs on the CD, Kate Chadbourne sang Inis Dhún Rámha as a solo, and she sang Dúlamán and Pardon Spezed as a duet with Benjamin Bruch.
