Kate Chadbourne collaborated with Tim Janis and a host of excellent musicians to produce a CD telling the story of Étaín through music. Kate chose the story, wrote the lyrics, and sang them on the CD. She also provided extensive liner notes to help listeners understand the tale. Tim Janis composed the music and played synthesizer, Mary Kennedy played flute and piccolo, and Bethe Hagens played fiddle. The four of them, with the help of other musicians, particularly David Surrette, have created a magical, musical retelling of this ancient Irish story.
