These are being slowed down, since it was very easy to get a large number of titles in a short time (due no doubt to the old face-to-face game).

Not all 'title attempts' will now be taken into account by the King: after all, if you are already an Earl you are expected to be a brilliant military commander and get mentioned all the time. If you have no title (i.e. are trying for a Knighthood), all title attempts account. If trying to become a Baron or Marquis, every second one counts. If trying to become an Earl or Viscount every third, and trying to become a Count every fourth.

If you are already a Count, then for every third title attempt you get a roll for extra estates (on the same table as rolling to become a Count). If you succeed, you get an additional 25Cr per month, and 15SPs.

If you are made a Minister (but not a Director) you will get a title attempt.

A more French system for titles is now in place, though English equivalents are still used for ease (e.g., Count and Duke).
